Outgoing mail server change
Due to recent abuse of our mail server by people sending unsolicited mail we are forced to implement even stricter anti-spamming rulesets on our current mail server. To assist us in doing this, we kindly request that you alter the setting given as your outgoing (SMTP) Server.
PLEASE NOTE:
The following changes should only be made by Internext users with dialup usernames starting with inx. If your dialup username and mail username is the same then the following settings do not apply - your current mail settings will work fine as they are currently configured.
On most current systems the outgoing mail server will be specified as nyx.marques.co.za or 196.25.38.11 (the ip address of nyx.marques.co.za). This address should simply be changed to smtp.internext.co.za.
For Outlook Express(ships with Internext Explorer 4 & 5)
You will find the following mail settings under:
Tools > Accounts
You will then see you mail account listed under the mail tab on the menu. When double clicking on the account with "default" next to it, the following menu will be displayed:

For Netscape Messenger (ships with Netscape Communicator 4+)
You will find the following mail settings under:
Edit > Preferences
The above screenshot depicts Netscape Messenger's Mail Server properties with the new correct server information entered.
On most current setups, only the outgoing mail server address will have to be changed from nyx.marques.co.za(196.25.38.11) to smtp.internext.co.za.
